Hope you take time to read my post because its all about my hubby’s situation. It’s very important too…I’ll share what happened to him before the operation and what’s the cause..Before he had his operation,we were so very happy whenever we go out for shopping and eat delicious foods
after and checks different restaurants. We like to eat pizza, meat, pork, beef,Filipino foods, seafoods and such.Of course we always have bottomless colas for our drinks. He also like to have fish sauce as a partner to his yummy meal.He is the type of person that don’t drink water that often too.I always remind him to drink at least 8 glass of water but he’s a hard-headed person hihihi…
Its been like 4 months when he told me that he is starting to feel pain on his left kidney and lower back.he ignore it and reasoned out that he’s just tired or something.I advice him that we go to the doctor to have check up but he still don’t listen to me
Last December 7, it was Sunday i was waiting for him around 6 pm to fetch me from work.Usually he’s early than my shift and he’s already in the parking lot waiting for me.But that time he was not yet there.I checked my phone and yeah i got missed calls from him.I called him and found out that he was already confined in the hospital.I was so freaking tense and nervous by that time,so i went to the hospital immediately…
The reason = Kidney stones. These are solid concretions (crystal aggregations) of dissolved minerals in urine.
According to Wikipedia:
Some of the substances found in urine are able to crystallize, and in a concentrated form these chemicals can precipitate into a solid deposit attached to the kidney walls. These crystals can grow through a process of accretion to form a kidney stone.can vary in size from as small as grains of sand to as large as a golf ball.[3] Kidney stones typically leave the body by passage in the urine stream, and many stones are formed and passed without causing symptoms. If stones grow to sufficient size before passage—on the order of at least 2-3 millimeters—they can cause obstruction of the ureter. The resulting obstruction with dilation or stretching of the upper ureter and renal pelvis as well as spasm of muscle, trying to move the stone, can cause severe episodic pain, most commonly felt in the flank, lower abdomen and groin (a condition called renal colic). Renal colic can be associated with nausea and vomiting due to the embryological association of the kidneys with the intestinal tract.Bloody urine is commonly present due to damage to the lining of the urinary tract.
Thank God it’s all done or else we may not know what will happen to him…The doctor said its because of eating so much salty foods, colas, large doses of vitamin C.The stones was stuck in the flow. His operation was successful and the doctor used the procedure of catheterization (click image to enlarge)
wherein they will insert a tube (ouch) into the patients’ body cavity, duct, organ or vessel.Yup that catheter was the tube that they inserted into my hubby’s organ. I searched some video of the operation over you tube and it’s pretty scary.I feel like i don’t want to drink colas and eat salty foods too…This is not a joke!!!!The most scary part, whenever he pee,it is all blood and such…I’m so sad with my hubby’s situation now.But he’s kind of ok now. We’re just now more careful with what we eat especially him.
You should warn your dad or mom or even relatives and loved ones about this…A painful and worst scenario we ever had this year…
Will return comments now
You don’t want to have this.Be careful sweeties muaaaahhhhh

Good to hear that ur hubby’s alright now.. You are really true, we need water and lots of water to flush out toxins in our body. Eating a lot of salty, acidic and other harmful foodie without helping out with water would really affect our kidney’s health.. Good sis that you posted this, it will warn us and remind to drink lots and lots of water.. Good that I drink lots of water too..

aww.,. hope your hubby is fine now. good thing that the operation is successful, my dad also suffered from kidney stone, but whats good is he did not go under operation because of the herbal medicine that he took. Anyway, let your hubby drink pure buko juice every morning..before breakfast.. it will make him feel better..
hope you are fine as well, having someone in the family is really stressful..
miss you
