Sometimes we feel tired and discouraging when at work because of the people around us. The question is how can we survive this kind of place?

TITUS 3:14

Our people must learn to spend their time doing good and providing for real needs. They should not live useless lives.

Do you love your job? Do you enjoy what you ar edoing? Ar eyou contented? Ask yourself!

I have an encouragement post for y’all…

God wants us to be overcomer, victorious, achiever and so on. Whether you are a student, a manager, an employee make it to the point to offer your work to God.

There are two purposes behind work:

1. To do good

2. To provide for real needs

God wants us to mark lives and influence people for good.

EPHESIANS 2:10

God gave us new lives from Christ and long ago he planned that we should spend these in helping others.

-DO ALL WORK IN LOVE

-ACCEPT PEOPLE UNCONDITIONALLY

-AFFIRM PEOPLE CONTINUALLY

-PRAY FOR THEM

-ASSIST THEM EAGERLY

* Speak only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs ( not your needs) but theirs that may benefit those who listen.

Does God keep his promises?

Have you ever experienced praying on something and God seems to be silent and not answering your prayers? Did you hate him for not answering your requests and the like?

Promise made, promise kept…

God keeps his promises. Always keep that in mind. He is putting things together for your good.

God is alive and actively at work in your life.

Remember, he is doing something beautiful in your life that you don’t know.

Do not be upset or down. He is there and listening to you.

Why God doesn’t seem to hear my prayers?

If you were not able to hear mass today, I would like to share this to y’all

Have you experienced praying for something and then it seems like God is just silent?

I hear this question from time to time or even I ask this question to myself. “Why God doesn’t hear my prayers?” This question is usually asked during some time of personal crisis that a person has been struggling with for a period of time. Sometime we feel that God do not hear us. Have you ever felt like when you pray your words get stuck somewhere between your mouth and God’s heart? Do you ever get the sense that your prayer simply doesn’t work.

They say sometimes God answers ‘yes.’ Sometimes He says ‘No’ and sometimes He says ‘not yet.’” Actually, sometimes God says No to our prayer too. Bible actually gives at least eight specific reasons why our prayer doesn’t seem to hear by God.

1. Sin (Isa 59:1-2)

2.Disregarding God’s law (Pro 28:9)

3.Lack of compassion for those in need [Pro 21:13]

4.Pride (Jas 4:6)

5.Disobedience [Deu 1:45]

6. Wrong motives [Jas 4:1-3]

7. Doubt (Jas 1:5-6)

8. Broken relationships [Mat 5:23-26]

I also learned that our prayer sometimes is not right and not praying at all.

- Maybe what we are doing is not

- We may not be praying at the right time.

- It may be the wrong person is praying.

First, maybe we are not praying at all.

For example, you want a car with good sound system while what you really need is to change your old set of wheels.

Can you imagine what our world would look like if anybody asked for prayer and was immediately granted! You talk about chaos!

I still remember the movie of Jim Carry which is God Almighty, God gave him powers to grant all the prayers that he just approved right away because he think that God’s process of approving is way too slow. The world is in chaos! Everyone win in lottery, People want instant stuff. That’s why nowadays everything is instant. Instant coffee, instant noodles, instant millionaire and so on. Look at the people who wait in long lines at local TV shows just to get instant prizes. . You will observe that most of the winners are claiming that they are praying to get this and win.

The real God’s purpose in prayer is for us to get to know who he is and his holiness rather than to ask God to do our request. That does not mean that he will not hear and answer our prayer, but his purpose in not to make us happy, but to make himself know to us which is true joy and happiness.

Jesus, when asked by his disciples how to pray offer the model of prayer, we know it as the Lord’s Prayer in Luke 11:2-4.

(Luke 11:2-4 NIV) He said to them, “When you pray, say:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed is your name, your kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.”

Now the prayer begins with the relationship, our father. Do you know God as your father when you pray? Are you looking towards God, or are you looking at your problems when you pray? Is he really your father?

If your children will come to you and say, “Daddy/Mommy, you’re really special and I love you,” they will hug you and give you a kiss; they could ask for the moon, and if it was yours, you would give it.

Establishing the relationship first is the beginning of prayer!

Are your really praying? Or are you just giving orders to God? Brothers and sisters, it makes a difference!

If we return to the prayer model Jesus gave us, we find next we have to be willing to put our father’s will first in our life, just like those in heaven. Are we willing to keep our part of the relationship and let him be our Lord and determine what we need and not what we want?

I hear it all the time from people, “Pastor, please pray for my such and such situation and I promise to come to church regular.” Well, you know what happens most of the time? When by God’s grace and mercy their prayer is answered, they disappear until the next crisis! Sooner or later that type of “hit and run” prayer life will come to an end and they will cry.

“Why doesn’t God seem to answer my prayers?”

My answer is because maybe you’re not really praying like Jesus says to pray.

The second problem may be that you are praying at the wrong time.

“Give us each day”–Prayer is a day by day thing. Its focus is on today. Our prayer needs are experienced in each today, and they will be met in a today. God cannot bring satisfaction to prayer in the past because it is gone forever, and he cannot answer a prayer for the future, because we are not there yet! And when we do get there it is today!

Example: Our prayer about the graduation of our son though our son is still on its first year level

NIV, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Still another part of praying at the wrong time is that because prayer is daily for the today, it means that prayer never ends until it has been satisfied.

It must be prayed over and over in each today. Praying last week to your most special Father in heaven is not a prayer! It was a prayer! Today’s prayer is a prayer.

Keep praying every day! Resting on a past prayer is the wrong time for prayer.

Pray continuously. Pray today!

DISCLAIMER: I believe that BIBLE is one source of absolute truth available to mankind today! I believe some of you may agree or disagree and I respect that so I am asking the others to respect mine too.

[Genesis 1:1] “”In the beginning God created the HEAVENS and the earth.” Observe the grammar used in heaven- plural! To be specific about the 1^st heaven, let’s read:

[Genesis 1: 7~8] “Thus God made the sky, and divided the waters which were under the sky from the waters which were above the sky; and it was so. God called the sky HEAVEN.”

How about the 2^nd Heaven?

[Genesis 22:17] “. . . blessing I will bless you and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the STARS OF THE HEAVEN and as the sand which is on the seashore; . . .” in the book of Deuteronomy bible clears the position of God throne that is higher the 1^st and 2^nd Heaven.

[Deuteronomy 10:14] “Behold the heaven and the heaven of heavens belong to the Lord your God, also the earth with all that is in it.” Observe again the grammar used in heaven.

And now let see about the 3^rd heaven where God our father live.

[2Corinthians 12:2] “I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago — whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows — such a one was caught up to the THIRD HEAVEN.

To recap, the three heavens God created are:

The atmosphere (sky) that surrounds the earth.
The Universe or Space.
The place where the throne of God is located and where Jesus prepared home for us.

That’s the word from author and researcher Marcia Masson, who quoted highly, places NASA insiders as having said that the telescope beamed hundreds of photos back to the command center at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., on December 26.

The pictures clearly show a vast white city floating eerily in the blackness of space.

And the expert quoted NASA sources as saying that the city is definitely Heaven “because life as we know it couldn’t possibly exist in icy, airless space.

“This is it – this is the proof we’ve been waiting for,” Dr. Masson told reporters.

“Through an enormous stroke of luck, NASA aimed the Hubble Telescope at precisely the right place at precisely the right time to capture these images on film. I’m not particularly religious, but I don’t doubt that somebody or something influenced the decision to aim the telescope at that particular area of space.

“Was that someone or something God himself? Given the vastness of the universe, and all the places NASA could have targeted for study that would certainly appear to be the case.”

Finishing the Race by Grace

In a race all the runners run but only one gets a prize. In Christian life, we deal life with joy and we give our all. There is a reputation to keep if you are a Christian.

So, how do we finish the race in our life?

1. The way the winner runs

-Do not stop, keep going coz you are already a winner in God’s eye. If God says love your partner, God will give you the power. If God wants you to do something in your life, make it to the point you have God’s guidance and power.

“NEVER BE LAZY, BUT WORK HARD AND SERVED THE LORD ENTHUSIASTICALLY”

2. Get rid of all hindrances

Less hindrances, the better

What are these hindrances? Discouragement, Sorrow, Pain and so forth.

Do not give up, understand what God gives you on your situation right now.

The number one hindrance that so easily entangles us is…

SIN

We will slow down if we continue to sin.

3. With spirit-empowered self-control

If we succeed in anything it is not because of mind power but it is because of the holy spirit.

If you have spirit-empowered self-control you can change.Be dependent on the holy spirit.

4. By helping others finish the race

Are there people in your life who needs encouragement?

Look after the others.

God knows what you are going through,

Whatever you do, God is watching you!

Man vs. World

God is love but God also hates.

What does world means to you? Are you worldly or Godly? Hope you could answer these questions after reading this.

What does world mean?

The human race
The evil system – This is the world that God commanded us not to love. Do not love the system of worldliness.

Reasons why we should not love the world;

- because everything in the world distracts us from loving God.

- Jesus saved us so that we can give him pure worship, give God glory

- Everything in the world opposes God

- Everything in the world will not last.

People under this world are

Lust of flesh persons that we desire
Lust of the eyes – things that we desire
Lust of life – boastful attitude in terms of salary, new gadget, life status etc.

Think what you desire, what you want, what you need everyday.

Maybe you will ask, is it bad to desire?

the answer is:

YES!!!

unless it is a desire for God and it is pleasing in God’s eyes.

Whatever you eat, drink or whatever you do,

do it all for the glory of God.

Christmas is FORgiving

Tough topic huh?!??? I know sweeties, you have bunch of names in your head right now. People who have sinned, made mistakes and such… whew*** even me hihi…

Lemme share this to you <3

What FORGIVENESS IS;

1. Resist thoughts of taking revenge. – If you hold on that anger, it just proves that you don’t trust Jesus.

2. Don’t seek to do them harm. – Don’t even think of getting back on the people who have hurt you. For God will do the rest.

3. Bless them. – It’s like wishing someone well.

4.Grieve at their calamities. – Do not rejoice when your enemy falls or the Lord will see it and be displeased.

5. Pray for them. – But don’t pray negatively, it shouldn’t be coming from you and don’t curse them…

6.Seek to reconcile with them.- Remember, it is an opportunity for God to share his grace.

7. Be willing to help them in time of need- (Well, self explanatory *wink )

What FORGIVENESS is not;

1. It is not the absence of anger at sin. – Don’t talk about the person, talk about the problem

2.It is not the absence of serious consequences for sin. – yes, you will receive forgiveness but remember, there’s always a consequence to face

3.It is not forgiving only those who are repentant.- Discipline is good for us.

WHAT IS PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT?

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT ENERGIZES OUR PRAYER.

When you pray is it something you memorized or personalized? When you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for tey think they will be heard because o their many words..

HOW DO WE PRAY IN THE SPIRIT?

Depend on the holy spirit to help us pray.
Let our prayers e shaped by God’s word.

Our prayers should be conformed to the word of God which the spirit inspired.
