I suffered culture-shock when I finally attended the first day of classes as a Tourism freshman. I never realized that exerting an extra effort to look good from head to toe was important, until I met my classmates.

Most of them were wearing high heeled shoes, fit into skinny outfits and/or mini-skirts and had make-up that made them look, actually, more fabulous. Every person I met looked great.

However, I never thought of being involved in these so-called fashion wars. Since I was young, I thought of myself as a bit of a tomboy or as many remarked, one of the boys. I took up tourism to fulfill my dream of becoming a flight stewardess but I never expected that the intense competition of beauty and personality would land on my knees until this very day.

Being exposed to this kind of environment, my interest in beauty and beauty products was developed. I told myself that ‘I should never be left behind’.

I started learning make-up techniques through magazines and video tutorials. And since I consider myself a “newbie”, I bought affordable make-up brands just to see if I could apply what I’ve learned.

Concealer Brush

My favorite item of the box, it liberally covers dark spots and circles under my eyes in a controlled and precise manner, leaving a clean and fresh look. The small fiber brushes are just right because it does not irritate the sensitive parts of my eyes.

Eye Shading Brush

I must admit that these brushes are far better than using cotton buds as an eye shadow brush. The tip of the brush fits perfectly to the contour of my eyes, hence preventing any smudge. It gives me the enjoyment of blending two eye shadows in succeeding applications.

Baby Kabuki

I really love this brush; In fact, I can bring it along with my favorite powder or mineral foundation and put it on areas that need more coverage.

The Final Verdict:

The concept of all-in-one make-up brushes provides value for money. By the way, I asked my friend about the price of Eco-tools Make-up Brush Set, I thought it would be Php 500.00 or more, I was really surprised because it only cost her Php 350.00

The brushes are perfect for make-up for beginners since every brush has its own unique function, you don’t have to buy brushes that are sold individually or sold in pairs because chances are, you can’t have the same consistencies that these brushes can provide. Samantha told me using her beauty coupon on Groupon was really easy and the products arrived within one month of her placing an order.

Best of all they do not irritate my sensitive skin. They really stand-out from all the make-up brush tools that are present in the market today.
