Stop a cold!

Four ways to stop a cold before it stops you;
EAT RIGHT – When you eat too much junk food, your blood sugar rises rapidly, then crashes causing your body to release stress hormones that impair your ability to stay well. Eat more whole grains, fruits, and vegetables instead.
EXERCISE – Working out for 30 minutes a day boosts immune cell production and lowers stress hormones. But heavy exercise like hitting the gym for two hours has the opposite effect. AIm for three to four short workouts weekly.
WASH YOUR HANDS CORRECTLY – Viruses and bacteria can linger on pens, doorknobs, phones etc. Scrub your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds before eating and after using the bathroom.
WATCH YOUR BAG – One of the sneakiest sources of germs is your purse. Drop it on the floor and viruses stick. Carry a leather or vinyl one an wipe it down when you get home or use a regular cleaner.
hidden diet dangers

I’ve been receiving e-mails and asking if i can share about dieting. Some wants to know the dangers too,we should be aware that even if we are trying a lot of things to be fit, we should know if it is dangerous to our health or not. Well, let’s check it out!!!
1. Atkins diet
It is high in protein and fat (meat, fish, chicken, eggs, dairy) and very low in carbs (limited fruits and veggies, no rice, pasta or anyhting made with white flour)
Atkins forces your body to switch from using carbs (your main energy supply) to burning fats as your new fuel, resulting in weight loss.
2. South Beach diet
The faster carbs can be broken down into sugar during digestion, the higher the GI ( Glycemic Index). Go for low GI foods like fibrous veggies and whole grain bread/rice.
3. Vegetarian diet
Giving up meat also means giving up important nutrients.Make sure you make up for those…
SOME BIG FAT LIE…
- “Caesar’s Salad” packs about 500 calories, and that’s without bacon.
- Low fat doesn;t always mean low-sugar. In fact, many fat free foods are loaded with sugar to compensate.
- A can of regular soda contains nearly 10 teaspoon of sugar. Go diet or light.
- Most juices even fresh fruit ones have just as many calories as soda.
- Be safe and healthy sweeties…Muah
ouch!!!
